EXPERIENCE

1998: Graduated from Rochester High School
 

2000: Graduated from Vincennes University (associates degree in law enforcement)
 

2000-2007: Indiana Department of Correction — Held positions of Officer, Sergeant and Counselor. Also served as a member of emergency teams including E-Squad and K-9 and was a personal protection instructor from 2003-2007.
 

2007-present: Fulton County Sheriff’s Office — Started in April 2007; graduated from ILEA in October 2007. Held positions of deputy, K-9 officer from 2008-2014, narcotics investigations and Detective Sergeant.

• Served as interim Jail Commander of the Fulton County Jail for a period of time under two administrations (Walker Conley in 2014 and Christopher Sailors in 2015)

• TASER instructor from 2016-2018

• Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) Pill Take Back Coordinator since 2012

• ALICE active shooter instructor since 2017

• Indiana Law Enforcement Academy (ILEA) instructor since 2018

• NARCAN program coordinator for Fulton County since inception in 2016

• Drug Free Fulton County (DFFC) member since 2008 and chairman since Jan. 2018

• Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) program supervisor since inception in 2019. Responsible for grant and policy writing

• FAA licensed UAV pilot since March 2019

• Computerized Voice Stress Analysis (CVSA) operator since 2009

• Thinking for a Change Instructor

• Cellbrite Forensic Electronic Examiner since 2017, specializing in cell phone extractions and analysis.

• Vehicle Accident Reconstructionist and active member of Indiana Association of Certified Accident Investigators (IACAI).
